Tour Day 13: Grand Finale Rally in Las Vegas
The "Doing Right by New Mexico Tour" officially concluded yesterday up in Las Vegas at great rally hosted by the Rialto Restaurant in Old Town. Over 200 local folks came out to meet Tom and Ben Ray Lujan, eat some AMAZING green chile stew (which I really needed because of my alergies) and posole, and hear some great music.

Tour Day 10: Meeting Voters at East Picacho
This picture just about says it all.
Tom dropped by East Picacho Elementary in Las Cruces yesterday to meet folks there. Doòa Ana county does, indeed, love Tom. The cafeteria was a surprisingly good venue for one-on-one conversations, and had very interesting art on the walls.

Tour Day 8: Town Halls in Santa Rosa and Clovis
Following the Edgewood BBQ, we headed out to Joseph's Restaurant on Rt. 66 in Santa Rosa for some iced tea and a town hall with community leaders and concerned citizens. Congressman Udall spoke passionately on issues ranging from the Iraq War to Energy Independence, at one point declaring his belief that New Mexico has the environment and the talent to become "the Saudi Arabia of Solar and Wind".

Well, Pearce's Washington cronies are at it again. As I am sure that you have read elsewhere, The Club for Growth has put down a sizeable buy to slam Tom on a number of things.
Naturally, since the ad is from the Club for Growth, you know it isn't exactly trustworthy (for more on the issues, take a look at LP's post).
