Earth to Trump: WE NEED ACTION

Climate change is a threat that we cannot afford to buck responsibility on. Without meaningful actions local communities will be harmed by longer droughts, more severe weather patterns, increased wildfires, and agricultural losses. Combatting climate change does not require sacrificing economic growth. With directed investment in clean, solar, wind, hydro, and other renewable energy sources we can create higher-paying jobs that will revitalize rural areas. Rather than take this approach, the Trump administration has opted to declare a war on scientific findings and is, instead, trying to slash funding for climate related research and protection programs.

Time is of the essence and inaction will have severe consequences on not only our generation but on the ones which follow. That is unacceptable and unsustainable. This Earth Day (Saturday), protesters will participate in March for Science across the country. Let us know what your protest sign would say >>
