Members of Washington:
The Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks are some of the most pristine and unique natural areas in New Mexico. They are home to a wide array of animals and plant-life found nowhere else in the world.
And they deserve to be protected.
Designating the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks and the surrounding areas would create jobs, provide more than $500,000 in state and local tax revenue, and generate an estimated $7.4 million in economic activity for New Mexico.
That’s why I’m standing with Tom and urging Washington to take action to protect and preserve the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks.
Signed,
