Special interest influence in our campaign finance system has gotten out of hand. In the 2012 cycle, outside groups flooded elections across the country — with more than $1 billion in attacks and smears.

Almost half that money, $407 million, came from a network of groups organized by two people — the billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch.

This year the Koch brothers are already at it again, funneling tens of millions into campaigns across the country to advance their anti-middle class, big oil agenda.
