Tell Congress: Push for Paycheck Fairness

Tomorrow is Equal Pay Day. This “holiday” represents the average point at which women would have to work into following the year to earn as much as their male counterparts did in the previous one.

Women have made progress toward equality in the workplace, but we need more action. If we continue to go along at this rate, it would take until 2058 for women to earn the same as men.

Unequal pay doesn’t just hold back women. It holds back families and our economy too.

It’s the 21st century. We shouldn’t have Equal Pay Day because we shouldn’t have a gender pay gap. Sign on and demand that the obstructionists in Congress take action to address paycheck fairness.
