New Mexico Business Weekly: Las Cruces to host New Mexico Water Conference

The 57th annual New Mexico Water Conference is scheduled to land in Las Cruces on August 28.

The daylong event, co-hosted by New Mexico State University President Barbara Couture and U.S. Sen. Tom Udall, D-NM, is scheduled to take place at the Corbett Center on the NMSU campus.

“Water is crucial to our economy and to our way of life,” Udall said in a news release. “Unfortunately, New Mexico communities, farms and industry are not getting the water they need to thrive due to drought and infrastructure issues.”
